I just bought a med tint xstream and tried it a couple days ago. I cracked it on the bottom right side by not being careful. Still useable and not noticeable when mounted. I put some gorilla glue on it so the crack doesn't spread. I love the way it looked on my black SG. As far as wind goes, I found it to be a little to much compared to my 8' ultra elite I got from them. That is what I put back on. I think the problem is my mustang seat that raised me up just enough for my face to catch wind. If I duck down just a little it's fine. I am 5'11. If you want it I can give you a great deal on it.
I have the X-Stream 12 inch and a 12 inch ultra. Love both, I'm putting the ultra back on for colder weather riding. The wife says she gets much more wind with the X, but I find the buffeting less with it.
Buy one each and then make up your own mind, then you can give us the good and the bad... )
They're cheap enough.
Personally I think all the "aerodynamic" looking windshield are hideous looking. They look as though they were melted in the sun and I had K/W 6.5 and thought it sucked.
Clean air? Nah, just wind IMO.
IMO, if you want a good shield, get one that has a slight flip at the top and fits you correctly which is right between the chin and the upper lip.
