Are you saying your hearing they are all gonna be liquid cooled? (radiators)? IF so its not true, no way. Thats one of the most silly rumors Ive heard. Why would Harley throw it all away when virtually every other company is still selling air cooled machines? I can almost guarantee you that this is not the case, It would be an end to the Moco. Besides, how would this improve emmisions?

Silly rumor?
What is the V-Rod? Every other company selling air cooled? Honda VTX has been liquid since it's creation. Boy most other company's are offering liquid. I think I would be surprised if they are still air cooled....the times are changing and Harley is perfecting it now on the V-Rod.[sm=sorry.gif]
But the Rocket III is liquid cooled and it is a rocket! Harley is facing two dilemmas...other manufacturers having more performance and the changing EPA standards. The V-Rod is a part answer to this and other changes are surely on the horizon. We will probably see a combination of air and liquid cooled bikes in the near future and the carburetor will be a thing of the past on many models.
my first bike was a yamaha v-star 1100 it was air cooled....i heard that it is going to be increasingly harder to accesorize HD's with aftemarket parts(engine, trans, exhaust) in the future and that aftermarket could and would void MFG warranty. i guess ill be holding onto my 04 til the new stuff is perfected..lol
