Default Going from Progressive cartridges back to stock?

Anyone ever done it? After using the drop in's for almost 10,000 miles they are still too stiff for my liking...You feel every little bump even on the highway. Granted they are the 1" lowered version but I am thinking of going back.
Anybody talk me out of it? I really don't feel like laying out 400 to go backwards...

It's very simple. You don't like the cartridges, then go back to stock. Good luck.

How many clips did you use? If you used 2 you might try going to one.

I've got 1 clip in and I'm very happy with my monotubes. I can't say that it's 100%, but seems to me that most people that complain are using 2 clips.

I had them in and hated it, went back with Racetech and gold valves. I cant complain, but for next time I think Im just gonna bite the bullet and get set up with Ohlins F&R and be done.

That is your issue, I'm afraid.

You could sell me the montubes for cheap to offset some of your costs! PM if you interested in making a deal. Good luck!

you could just do a swap of the forks with northeimcustom. then the labor would be almost negligible.....

The monotubes are definitely a stiffer ride, but there's no way, I would go back to the crappy stock ones... There's got to be better options than that.

I have the standard height but going from 2 clips to 1 clip made a big difference. There are still much better options out there.

Have you researched the Ricor Intimidators?
