Default Headed to TX
Got up this morning and finished packing the truck and load the RK on to the u-haul trailer. Leaving NC tonight around 5 to move to Fort Hood, TX. Going to be about an 18 hour drive, so I should be rolling into town around lunch time tomorrow.

Welcome to Tejas, it may be hot in the summer, but a least our riding season last 12 months. If you're a true South Texan, you know that there are only two seasons, Hot and Hotter.

I had my bike tuned in Michigan and was down at FT Sam for 3 months, my bike never ran so hot as it did there, to the point after a stop light I had to get off of it. If you are there for the long haul look at a tune for the weather there.

Safe travels and you are moving to an area that has some great riding Hill Country. Be aware though, the deer population in that area is thick..

It only gets to around 112 or 115 maybe a dozen times in the summertime down here.
Riding a motorcycle in the hot summertime in Tejas is not for sissys though.
