Default Trip meter reset problems..

First fill up on my new/used Ultra yesterday, went to reset the trip meter and no trip meter. Tried holding it for a few seconds , no go. Speedo works fine. Looked in my manual at the electrical schematic and seen its connected to the speedo with two wires. Removed the front fairing cover, unplugged the speedo connection, tested the reset switch with a ohm meter and its no good. (removed the maxi fuse in advance). Did the WOW test from the manual also..no go.
Has anyone replaced this .10 cent piece yet?? I have warrenty but the stealer is 3-1/2 hrs from here. Rather replace it myself to save time.
Any feed back would be appreciated

I haven't but I did have the rubber nipple fall off on me....I thought I was going to have to buy another switch, so I checked the price of the switch at the dealer and it was something like $13.45 .... I ended up not needing it for my application (they didn't have it in stock anyway)

Thanks,
I'm calling the stealer in the morning. Its minor, thought this might have been common since its a cheap cheap switch.

Tried to reset mine after a fill up last week and mine didn't work on my 06 SG. Kept pushing and holding and it flipped to trip and almost didn't get it back to odo. Just hate to have the dealer pull the fairing and risk them scratching it over this.
