I ride a 2008 UC and I yesterday I got caught in a little rain so today I washed it and when I started it I noticed that the tach and speedo where going crazy and the reset switch is not working. The tack and speedo are working fine again but the trip reset does not reset. The bike runs fine and I have no other issues.

 

Trip reset switch 67854-98 $12.52 or if you can find the obsolete 67450-99 it is only $3.85 which is showing still available at a few dealers.

 

I have a 2010 Ultra and had the same issue. After a couple days it started working again. Dealer couldn't find any issues.
