That looks like a scam to me. He never ran up the drill without the dyna beads to show us whether or not it would smooth out on it's own like it finally did with the dyna beads.
Looks can be deceiving. Why don't you go out and try it. I'll bet you a case of beer it works just like the video.
I have been running them for many years and we use them in all the wheels we ship out which is a lot of wheels. I see them as a problem free method of balancing the tire without having to depend on stick on weights which have a tendency to fall off the wheel. There are many opinions on beads and many say they are snake oil. Dunno about anyone else's bike, but my bike rides smoother with them than with a wheel weight.
I got my setup from Hogpro, and like he states, my bike has been trouble free with them.
I am sold on Ride On! Considered both about 4 years ago. The negatives on the beads is they dont seal annd make a mess when changing them, not really a big deal to me but it pisses off tire people.
The positives on Ride on is it will seal a puncture, and if you ever ride X country and the thought of being stranded in the middle of nowhere is a concern to you, than theyre worth their weight in gold. Secondly, I found that the tire will hold rated pressure, I found this out when my son was living here and the bikes were stored in the garage thru the winter. His air pressure was down to about 22, mine was right where I left it at 38.
Anyway I just installed it in my new to me 12 CVO yesterday and went for a ride, the first 8-10 miles had some vibration, than it was gone! I had removed 11-#5 weights off my front wheel alone.
I know this thread was about beads but I really believe ride on offers more than beads do.
I put them in for the first time about 10K ago and noticed an immediate improvement. I will never go back to wheel weights again. Plus I change my tires and balance at home now.
Had he continued to run the drill with the 20g of weight taped to the side of the bottle it probably would have flown off. Some people won't even believe what they see with their own eyes.
OP, they work, I've also heard that Ride-On does a good job too.
I'm not saying they don't work because I haven't tried them. What I'm saying is that the test was worthless because the drill wasn't turned up to show what would have happened without the beads.
The bottle wobbled as bad with the beads at low RPM.

So, was your use of scam, where you talking about a free video that didn't sell you anything, or where you talking about beads? I am confused on your word use as the way you wrote it, you were referring to beads.
Yes they work... You use the amount of beads per the tire size.. The bead mfg has a chart.. I don't know why all mfg don't use them in place of a balancer machine ..
