I just picked up a used pipe for my 2011 ultra. The pipe is from a 2009 so the o2 sensors are different sizes and position. My question is does the Cobra Powrpro use the O2 sensors at all?
Can I just take the O2 sensor out of the pipes all together and plug the holes? Sorry for the knuckle head question just not sure how this unit works.
if used, bung adapters can be found online ( nightrider.com for one) or at many muffler shops- call around- you may have to extend wiring for the front
same sources may also have screw in plugs if o2 sensors are not used
I had one of those tuners on a 1996 Road King and thought it worked great. According to their web site, you may have the closed loop version. I would contact them and ask about the O2 sensors.

Thanks Mike. I have the plugs if I can just cap them off. I was concerned about just moving them because of how close the 09' holes are to the exhaust ports. 2011 are down further away.
I can have new ones welded but if I can get away without any and just plug the 09' holes up that would be easiest.
I spoke with Cobra and they said I do not need the O2 sensors and can completely ignore them or delete them BUT I will need an O2 Sensor Eliminator kit so it doesn't throw any codes.
Is anyone familiar with these?
Just unplug them under the right side cover. thats what is done on my Fuel Moto micro tuner. the oxygen sensors are no longer used so you just unplug them
So a few people suggested I get the resistors and cap off the O2 sensors. For $30 I trust the people I spoke with...I got a Daytona Twin Tec Twin Tuner II O2 Sensor Eliminator Kit. They just plug in.
In the mean time I had a few minutes so I thought I would get the exhaust on and make sure it all fits. I couldn't be more happy with this thing. RB racing nice quality unit...Great sound, good power( seat of the pants tested)...and no codes or lights so I would say I probably don't even need to cap off the O2's but sense they are ordered and on their way I'll just plug them in when they get here.
Thanks for all the input.
