Default 07 FLHX 103" adding Rinehart True Duals?

Gents,

I am a Virgin to the forum, so go easy. I purchased my 07 Street Glide and added the HD Screamin' Eagle® Street Legal Big Bore Stage II Kit for EFI Models - 1690cc (96 to a 103), Includes Stage II (SE-255) cams, Big Bore cylinders, Big Bore flat top pistons, clips, and a Stage I Air Cleaner Kit with one-piece backplate, integral breathers, all mounting hardware, and gaskets. Also includes a high performance clutch spring and catalyst mufflers, and HD download.
The kit came with the Wonderful catalyst mufflers (JOKE) andI have purchasedsome Rinehart True Duals. The dealer was not big on going with Rineharts due to the loss of low end Torque, but I'm installing them. But these catalyst mufflers that came with the kit are way to quiet. I have ordered (on the waiting list) a SERT to go along with the Rineharts.

1) How hard is it to download my configuration into my ECM using the SERT since I don't have a stock bike? I have a laptop and I'm fairly good on the computer.

2) I will need to drive my bike 40 miles to have it dyno'd at the HD dealer, will I be able to put a richer/basic download from the SERT. So I don't blue my pipes or F-up my bike?

3) If I can't download the SERT info into my computer can I install the Rineharts and drive to the dealer with my HD stage II download, and have the dealer install the SERT software?

4) Since my SERT is on back order, after I install the Rineharts can I fire up the bike to hear the pipes without the SERT? Just to hear those boyz!

Right now my bike has Dyno #'s of 74HP and 92Foot pounds of torque. All the torque is right out of the box/low end. I can't stand riding a Harley that sounds (catalyst mufflers)like a Honda! I also ordered a set of Wild Hogs for the stereo, based on the forum advice.

Thanks
Mark

"I also ordered a set of Wild Hogs for the stereo, based on the forum advice."

I have Wild Pig mufflers & Hogtunes speakers- will Wild Hogs play exhaust through my stereo or music through my mufflers? Maybe it'll play that movie on my display.....LOL

Seriously, the street legal download will be too lean for the Rineharts. There is a "race exhaust" map in the SERT files - calibration #88, but it is for stock headpipes, and will still be lean. I'm running the same setup as you with V&H Duals, I can help you out with a map to get it to the dyno. Email me hdxbones@yahoo.com
