I've got Rush slipons on my 2007 RKC with 2.5" baffles. It was great at first but they've gotten too loud. The drone on long rides is an ear killer. Will the 1.5" baffles make much of a difference? I don't wanna spend the money them for nothing. I want the low end rumble without the loud drone at highway speed. The stock pipes were too quiet.
This one isn't that far from you. It's a bit more than what you'd like to pay but compared to the one at the dealer that has been in an accident this one is a steal.
2009 with 1,986 miles. Cruise, and other options. Original owner. $12,995. http://delaware.craigslist.org/mcy/4787660732.html
Thanks for the find. I sent an email. Looks like a good deal.
This one's under $10k from a dealer in FL. A one way plane ride and some gas it's yours. Hell, even have someone look it over and ship it and you're money ahead.
That bike in DE looks like a deal! I'd be all over that Ross. I knew you'd outgrow those training wheels one day.
I still love Sportsters. I just plan on doing more touring and want more comfort. My buddy has an '05 with 130k miles on it. He's doing an upcoming Iron Butt 10k mile rally on it.
With me I want a softer suspension. I just haven't been able to setup this 1200C as comfortably as I'd like to or as comfortable as my 883L was.

I spoke to the guy in Delaware and should try to look at the bike this coming week.
Thanks guys.
I smell a new bike in Baka's garage!
FWIW, I rode my sister's 2008 Duracell 1200 Low and really enjoyed it. Obviously, it's a bit small for me. But, with a few tweaks, I could see that as one helluva fun ride. I would love to covert it to an XR version of the anny model, but she like's it more or less the way it is.
