Default Drag Specialties Big Buffalo SBag Guards?

I'm thinking I want to add saddle bag guards to my 2013 FLHRSE. I know they take away from the clean look designed into that bike but I hate the thought of taking the chance of it falling over and ruining the paint on the bags. I would also like to add some HD SBag guard bags to store glasses, gloves, phone small items, especially for long trips. These also protect the paint on the front side of the bags. I am considering the Drag, Big Buffalo bars. They are 1.25" instead of the 7/8" diameter stock bars. Anybody got pics of a bike with these on it? Anybody own them or seen them? What y'all think of em? Too gaudy?http://www.ebay.com/itm/121518929622...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I don't know how bigger would be necessarily better?
The 7/8's would work as well and are a tad less obtrusive.

It's good insurance!!
