For me it wasn't about price as much as the way it feels. The adjustable one feels "springy" to me. The solid mount one is more, well, solid. Once adjusted to fit, the non-adjusting one is comfortable and secure. I have 3 fused vertebrae in my lower back, so the extra solid support is not optional.

And it matches my seat.

I actually thought the same thing, that one I had it adjusted that I probably wouldn't adjust it again, so I went with the non-adjustable. And HOGNOT it's funny that you would have the link to those pictures, as I just had a few conversations with him

Sure, let me find it. My wife helped "clean up" the garage and i can't find anything. I'll let you know.
