I just purchased the Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner for my 2007 FLHTC. Once I install it, do I need to get the bike Dyno tuned or, dowait until I replace the stock HD pipes?
Change the AIR FLOW you need to re-map or install a Fuel Management system ASAP - You should just wait till you get your pipes and do all 3 at the same time
For sure, just put that big sucker up on a shelf until you get your pipes and then get youself some kind of fuel management and then get it dynoed. It will be a waste of money to do it now and then make other changes.
I just got a PCIII for my bike (stage II 95" but it always had the stock/factory ECM and just a map from H-D, probably far from ideal set-up, but that's how it was left). Iplan to DynoTune it soon. When I got the PCIII from Jaime I had him load a map in it for my bike to get it "close".
My question is... Does the factory ECM "map" that was downloaded into the bike by H-D affect the PCIII's map at all? When I have it dynotuned will that factory ECM map make any difference or is just "ignored" by the existence of the PCIII and it's map?
