Yes several times and as they said 5th gear 09 UltraC. Had a couple of friends with 110 CVOs that just hated when I would do it. I'm sure their bikes would have done it easily with me on them, but I don't ride what isn't mine and they aren't riding what is mine.
I have tried many times and all I can get is 115 no matter 5th or 6th gear and I have held on at full throttle for a long time. I have no problems with running triple digits, I rather enjoy it, the HD is not built for speed and in stock form, other then decatting it, it is not going to hit 120. Mine is a 2014 Ultra Limited.
Shop SGS with a Stage I would flirt with 120 indicated. Now with a Stage IV it is loafing at 110 indicated and barely starting to work a bit at 120 mph, with a lot left. At 100 mph indicated it is only doing 97 mph per GPS.
2014 Tri-Glide with a DK Performance Plus Stage I only, will get up to 110 quite quickly, only had it to 115 once, and it had more in it, but I didn't. lol
btw, the speedo on the TG is dead-on with the GPS speed.
The TG has MUCH more wind resistance than the SG.
Shop Dyna with a Stage II 88" runs right up to 120 easily (with a windshield) and has been at GPS 130 mph quite a few times.
Much of that top end speed is in dependent on having a lot of the little things dialed in, air flow in, exhaust out and the tune.
My '01 Road Glide would hit the 6200 rpm rev limiter in 5th if given a mile to get there. It had the 95" jugs, SE heads, Thunderheader, cams, etc. The math says that is 134 mph. No other HD that I've had would even get close. My 98 RK Police would have a hard time hitting 98 mph.
120, no problem at all on my stock '09 Electra Glide. Did it all the time on the 405 North out of L.A. after visiting the grandchildren.
Wait! Are you talking Kilometers per hour, or Miles per hour?
Oh! Well, then forget it. I used to do that right down on the tank of my Norton Commando, but on the Harley Fughetaboutit.
I've hit 120 and just past it a couple times going by the speedo. In 5th gear. Gets to 110 pretty easy, those last 10+ MPH take a little longer to achieve. If I don't look at the speedo and shift into 6th by ear, I'm usually at about 90- 95 MPH..unintentionally. Always makes me smile! Bike specs below.
