I'm just curious here. Why do you need the switch itself to be lighted when it's on. Wouldn't the fact that your LED's lit up be enough to tell you that the circuit is working?

Or...use a relay. tie the relay into your ignition circuit (lights).
That way the switch will only have power when your ignition is on.

I used the relay installation when I installed the aux lights. In my case, the relay feeds power to the switch that's
mounted on the handlebars.

ok I tried moving online LED lights to the accessory switch
in theory I understand how it works i hook up a 20 amp fuse line to the battery ran up to the switch and then to the other switch wire I ran all the positive sides of all my LED lights I've been bundled
all the LED light negative wires and connected them to the battery negative side.
I thought all was good I turn the bike on and the lights are extremely dim they come on but maybe not even a quarter percent of how bright they were originally before.
does this mean I might need a load equalizer or did I mess something up I appreciate any feedback or pointers
