Default FLH Bars

I am looking to upgrade my handlebars to a low rise swept back (a little) bar. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I had the Chubbys Wild Ones 508 on my Road King and loved them! They also have a 518 with a little less pull back than the 508, but the width and height is the same. It looks great and is the most comfortable ride I have ever had. I wanted to put some on my new bat wing, but they would not work with the fairing. I ended up getting a set custom bent so I could get the same hand position.

FLH?

which version?

the batwing fairinged bikes ( flht, flhtc, flhtcu, flhtk etc) handlebars need a certain size center section to fit ( as touched on above).

but before you start spending. have you tried rotating your stock bars back?

saves $ on bars, wiring and cables

on a batwing , remove the lower dash ( ignition switch removal tips on youtube) and you can make a tool to loosen the 2 bolts and rotate the bars.

thick towel on tank and make sure you have at least 1/2" clearance from tank as the bars are rubber mounted.

welcome to the forums

Welcome to HDF, from the UK. I agree with Mike above, try adjusting your current bars first. You will find they move quite a bit, going a little lower as you swing them towards you, there is quite a range of adjustment.

I have joked over the years that the guy on the production line who installs 'bars must be a gorilla! Pretty well every Harley I've ridden has the bars set too high and far away for my liking. Same comment applied to my Glide, which made me very uncomfortable for a while. It took several attempts at adjusting them, but then bingo - they were just right!
