I love my wifes street bob. It just hauls *** and is more fun going from bar to bar etc. It handles way better than my SG at speed. Kinda flickable if you know what I mean.
My SG is the real deal though. Wouldn't trade it for a street bob. And like someone said, it's low speed handling is the best of any bike I've ever owned.
I'll chime in here as well. I started on a Softail and could never imagine myself on a Bagger (GeezerGlide). Happened upon an incredible deal on a 95 Road King with 2k on it and garage kept, bought in 05. Went to work on it to make it my personal ride and absolutley love it. But then I got that itch to jump back on the blaster. Recently finished the Night Train and it gets looks and compliments everywhere I go. Fun to ride around town but it wasn't more than three rides on this bike before I was begging for my bagger again. I wouldn't even consider doing any distance on a Softail again. If I want it at a bike event that bad I'll have a friend trailer it there while I ride the King to the show
Don't get me wrong baggers are great but I couldn't have one as my only bike,
love my softail too much. Bagger is good for touring, Softail is good for kicking
around town, honestly couldn't be without either one.
