There's 7 screws total that hold the outer fairing on.3 on front by the windshield,2 below the round part of the inner fairing and 2 more at the very bottom of the inner faring tight next to the forks. The 2 at the bottom are hard to see at first so just look around the forks and You'll find them. The faring will come apart when You get all of the screws out. Then unplug the headlight and pull the fairing off.It take about 5 or 10 minutes.
If you don't have passing lamps, be careful you don't drop the fairing on your fender. It's not hard. After you remove the windshild, replace the top middle screw until last ... it's make the process a whole lot easier.
follow the directions posted above--it's one of the easiest things to do. I would like to add "put screws where you can find them for when you put the fairing back on" don't ask me how I know this.

I plan to install an Tune Trapper antenna in my fairing. Can anyone advise me how to take the fairing apart and out it back together? Thanks
