You won't get blown around if you keep it no more than 2" below eyeline. Try sittin' up a little to try and find the level where it starts to blow you. [i should be so lucky]

I cut mine so the top of the windshield is level with the Tip of my nose. It is perfect for me. If I sloutch a little I can still see over it.

Changed the stock 12" windshield to the HD Light smoked 9 1/2". Works perfect for me. I'm 6' tall.

PS: That's still the 12" in my pic.

CONGRATS!!! MOST LIKE BEING ABLE TO LOOK OVER THE WINDSHIELD - ON A UTLTA RIGHT ABOUT @ YOU NOISE - THEN MOST OL' GW RIDER LIKE LOOKIN THRU THE SHIELD - THEN HEIGHT DOESN'T REALL MATTER...

SMOKE IS GREAT - BUT TO DARK WILL NOT ALLOW YOU CLEAR VISION... CAUTION

I'm 5/10 andhad a 6", but that did give me some wind right in the bucket. So I ordered a 10" for te ride to Laughlin. Tested it out this past weekend and it worked GREAT -- gotta get used to the look though. Doesn't look as "cool" as the 6" or the 4" on other bikes, but I still have the old one and swapping them out is a very easy process.
