I'm having the hardest time picking a cam for my 103 Electra glide, there's way to many to pick from my brain hurts. Looking for low-mid power

lmao good luck with that, every time you read you will find another good option and it will be a matter of opinion from every user. i don't like the cams some do here. some don't like my choices. for what it was worth i was happy with my gear drives 570 from S&S

the way i look at is if its a popular cam and it has reviews that seem to fit your needs go for it. now on the dyno one might beat the other on things but any of the popular cams will be a huge improvement over stock.

ya I really have my eyes on the woods 222 a lot of people say it had amazing low end but then some people say you have to shift really fast with it and that's what I'm torn about

Here are a couple sites that may help.

Or further confuse you...

In my humble opinion the 222 is hard to beat for a low to mid rpm cam. It's what had in my 08 SG and it pulled like crazy. I am considering them for my 15 but am waiting for Fuel Moto to test them in their 15 RG first.

I think I might just do the 222's then I want the awesome low end they offer. How did they perform in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th? That's where I want the power. Obviously first gear is short right

If you want low to mid look at the 222's or Andrews 48's. If you have a 2014 limited then I'd go with Andrews 57's. I have these and love them. Another option is the SE204's, great cam's also and they have a wicked sound also.

IMHO 222/48s are better 96 cams than 103 cams. The 103's higher compression is better suited to 555/54/57s. 570 is a nice cam but really needs more compression and headwork to shine. I'm a big fan of 57s in a stage 1 103 without headwork but I really don't understand all the "low end" worries? Who rides around under 2500??? There is also that shifter operated with your left foot!!
