I know the saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I'm on the fence with my next step. I purchased a light laydown bike, 2008 ultra classic in Black Pearl paint. I am replacing the inner and outer fairing, lowers, saddle bag guards left side bag lid and repairing the tour pack. The side panels have scratches as well. I've already obtained a new take off fairing, saddle bag lids
they are all vivid black. I like the black pearl color, not as big fan of the vivid black. my quandary becomes do I change colors, do I just paint the replacement parts, do I leave the replacements vivid and add to them to accent the black pearl (satin black ghost flames)
If I repaint the entire unit I am leaning towards s black sheen (similar to the denim but more sheen.
I am considering just going back to the black pearl (budgetary reasons)
I was thinking about pin striping ghost flames onto my vivid black bike in a manner so that only in the sun would you see the flames. Possibly with clear and flake. I think that would look pretty cool.
