Went up to the dealership today to pick up an oil filter and few other odds and ends. Checked out some clothes for my baby nephew and then went back to talk to my buddy who I went to college with and works in the service department. We went to the back where all the bikes are and I sat on a new Road Glide Special. Now I want one in the worst way. This addiction is awesome and horrible at the same time! Maybe with a new job I will be able to buy a 2nd bike!
I never talked to a salesman lol so that is how I got away. There will be no trade in. I have to much of my own time into my 04 Road King and I love this bad boy. I don't want just 1 bike lol I want 1 of every bike!!!! haha
Hopefully soon I will have a new job and with that will come a quick pay off of the current ride and then looking into either slapping a turbo on a dyna or a Road Glide!
I stuck to my list and only got the few things I needed and spent less than 40 bucks. I knew I wanted to check out a RG and as soon as my buddy told me I was to tall and probably wouldn't like it I had to find out for myself. The bars can be swapped out but I didn't mind them as much as the beach bars on my RKC. And i like the feeling of being down in the bike more.
