Default Mirror Replacement

I am thinking about replacing my stock mirrors with the long stemed type to get a better over the shoulder view. Has anyone done this? If you have, I'd love to see some pics. Just not sure how it will look with the fairing.

Because of my height, I'm 5' 16", I added the three inch mirror extensions that HD offers. I'm not sure this is what you want but I've included a couple pictures for you to take a look at...

These extensions seem to do the trick in gettin the mirrors high enough so I can see around my arms and body...[]

Like dchoran says, "did it, luv it!" I replaced them on my '06 EG Classic, with the same shape as stock but longer stems (91846-03A and 91848-03A). They set the mirrors outward about 1 1/2" or so, but not any taller. Gives me a much wider field of view behind, but not so much over the shoulder. I really love them, don't know if that was the effect you're after.
