2011 Road King Classic Cracked Header Pipe :-(

While upgrading my bars I found out that my header pipe has a crack in it. Rather than try to weld it I think I want to replace the header with something more exciting. I already have V&H slip-ons so either true dual or 2 into 2 into 2. I have searched and found good information but nothing that gave me the answers I was looking for.

Just curious, but how did you happen to discover an engine problem while you were changing your bars?

Ya, that is what popped up in my mind too. There is quite a distance between the bars and the exhaust. Still, it must have happened.

Leak

i said I think there is a leak so when you are working on the bike if you could tighten everything up I would appreciate it. As it turns out my pipe is covered by the HD warranty. So I will take the free replacement for now. I keep adding chrome bits to the bars. Leavers, switches and so on so the total is on the rise.
