Default LRS ultra for 6'1" rider, 8 or 9"?

All these lrs threads lately have me thinking I might purchase another with their new sale going on. Currently have a 9" medium tint and love it, but at times I feel an 8" would suit me better. Sometimes it feels the top of the screen is at my eye level and I am trying to sit straight up a tad to get a better view. Per their sizing recommendations though, sitting on the bike the 9" screen is right at nose level for me. Curious what size screen u taller guys are running?

I'm 6'4 and I use an 8". The shield is around the bottom of my chin and works perfect for me. I have a good field of view over the shield and it still gets the wind up and over me and the wife. You could go with a 7" and be fine.

2010 Limited with some stuff!!

AT 6' I have a 7" LRS Ultra re-curve tinted I was always told that the top of the shield should be even with the tip of your nose.

Decisons, decisions, maybe I should try a 7". With the 9" I can hold my hand on top of my head and raise it about 2" (with a full faced helmet) until I feel the wind gust from the top of the screen. At 6'4" and you're running an 8" screen, maybe I should go with a 7. Just thought bc the HD windsplitter is a 6.5" (which I had, and hated the wind), a 7" recurve would be about the same, no?

I'm 6' 1". I have the 9" flat top and could have, should have gone with the 8". This is on an Ultra with stock seat so I sit higher. Use there measuring guide and if you slouch when you ride slouch when you measure.

Do you fellers have passengers?
I am 5'7" and use a flat top 8 inch
For me a 6 inch would have worked but not for my passenger.
I agree the shorter shields look much better but I want comfort for myself and wife.

Two totally different shields. The wind splitter can't even begin to compare to the recurve.

Might try the 7" then. Maybe just leave the plastic on for a quick ride, and as long as the wind stream isn't right in my face I should be good

It'll still put the wind stream over your head and give you better visibility too.

I'm 6'1" and went with the 9" dart tint recurve. Works great for me.
