Default Frame Stickers

Anyone ever remove the Stickers on the two down tubes of the frame? Any legal issues??
Just curious because I remove the stickers inside the bags and on top of the stock air cleaner
to clean up the bike a bit...I hate warning labels. I know the other ones I am talking about have
to do with the GVRW, Manufacture date..ect... but they annoy me.
What about those who get the frame painted, the stickers were removed right?

You can remove them if you want to, it's "technically" illegal, but no one really cares or checks them.
Any minute now some of the "pillow tag police" on this forum will be here to tell you that it's a "crime" to remove them or that it'll "void you warranty" or that it'll (gasp!) reduce your resale value or some other bullshit.

But it's really no big deal.

I always remove the one on top of the AC but I find the others providing useful information.

If ya want to license an out of state bike in Calif. and it doesn't have the Federal emissions sticker ya will need to go to CHP for a vehicle validation inspection. With the sticker it is done at DMV.

Only sticker I leave is the VIN# - I don't need a sticker to tell me my engine guard or bag guards my not protect me in the event of an accident.
I also remove all the reflectors.

Definitely makes my squint when I try to read it while I'm riding. I do like the arrow though - reminds me which direction to go.

Those arrows certainly prove useful after a couple beers ... 🍻

I'm retired now but thank you. It was an absolute honor and privilege.
