What is the highest rise i can have an still use stock cables etc.
I want 13"-14" rise if possible. If its not possible where is the best place to find the right length cables brake lines electrical etc? Or can i just rerout everything to make them work.
As a general rule two inches for stock cables and hoses. Your proposed height WILL require new equipment. There is no best place to buy these things...only the place that you feel most comfy with. My preference is J&P Cycles. Might not be your best alternative. As long as you're on the net anyway, get yourself over to Google and begin the process to find YOUR best.
As an aside, I would suggest getting and mounting the bars first THEN figgerin' out the length of cables/hoses that work best. Takes longer but less guesswork.
looks like I'll have to buy everything separate but I've found it all @ Dennis Kirk.. wiring, brake line, clutch cable, and throttle cables are going to run around $265. Bars will probably be another $125-$150.. so around $400 won't be to bad
