Need Battery

I have a 2004 Road King Custom. Are Harley batteries worth their price?

Nope, Get the DEKA battery. They make them for Harley and are probably 1/3 less. Try Amazon or eBay and also save sales tax.

Advance Auto has the AutoCraft battery which is the same East Penn Manufacturing made battery as the HD Battery. EPM says the only difference is the way HD wants their post poured. Both are AGM but I paid $65 for the battery at Advance Auto. I ordered it online and picked up in the store. Get the correct coupon code for the $40 discount.

For what its worth my HD battery lasted 7+ years. Hard to beat that. Still turned her over when I traded it out. Just didnt want to trust it far from home.

HD's maint free AGM battery is a good a battery but way overpriced & is supposedly mfg by EasternPenn / Deka that without HD's trademark can be bought for $70 cheaper for same product as shown in links below.
