Im hearing lots of options available--but like usual--"you will pay" I own an 06 rear speaker package which is $432us /$614 cdn. I had an 06 EGC apart the other day doing some tests, and found that on top of the cost of the rear speaker kit, you need to buy the "Non Ultra Overlay Harness" to make it work--WTF??? It is $177 cdn or about $140 USD. This means to make rears speakers work off an radio on an 06, you have to go to the dealer, ands PAY to have the rear speakers turned on using the HD "Digital Technician". Dealers Ive spoken to in USA charge minimum 1 hour for this--so lets say $75.. Then $432 for the rear speaker kit, then $140 for the harness that allows all the extra goodies like blue tooth/Nav etc plug in. To get rears to work--your at $647US before tax or labour!!
Sorry to rant, but all these extra goodies off the new radio will be expensive to get working on top of the cost of the actual part itself--it nice to have these options available for esthetics and ergonomics--but be prepared to pay!!
