American Iron Mag had a review of the 2015 Fatboy and mentioned a possible Daytona announcement for a 2015 25 Year Anniversary Edition Fatboy!
It would be sweet to see a tribute to the original gray FB
I am waiting for the MOCO to announce a 113 CI V-Twin to outpower the Indian 111 CI V-Twin as the standard size displacement for Touring Bikes. But I guess I can dream and only hope that will happen. What ever happened to those days when a 750CC displacement was a "BIG Engine for a MC"? Guess I'm showing my age. But that Yamaha Stratoliner with the 113 CI (1900 CC) V-Twin engine out of the crate is an amazing ride. Too many bikes I would love to have, not enough money in the bank to buy them and I definitely not have a wife that would allow me to have that many bikes.
No need for the MOCO to come out with a 113 to "out power the 111 Indian" the 103 High Output does a fine job of that already and yes I did ride the 111 Indian and not impressed at all. My brother in law and I both test rode them last fall the dealer told us to take them on a nice 10 mile loop we both pulled up to the first light at about 1 mile from the dealership and looked at each other and said these things suck lets turn around. We both commented on the sluggish response we both had to peg the throttles and rarely if ever on our HD's. And yes I very much wanted to like the Indian because I feel they nailed the look just failed on the performance side.
How about a wet Road Glide with lowers that blend into the fairing rather than the after thought lowers from a batwing. Or a 0-60 in 3.0 second Letric Glide )
i sure hope you are wrong on the lower fairing idea, that would be horrible looking i think, but hey it would match the new RG lol

I with ya, but those days are gone. I can remember back in the early 1970's when I moved up from a SL350 Honda to a "big" 750 Triumph Trident and thought it was a monster.
