Hi I have a 2014 street glide standard it started a few weeks ago like normal I went out tooling around in shed figured I'd start her up for a few turned everything on there was no noise from fuel pump and hit the start switch and got nothing I don't think it's a security thing I tried both FOBs even used the pin every thing else works lights radio ..... it is still under warranty bought new end of may 2014 and has just over 10 thousand miles any help would be appreciated
Thank u
Check your kill switch.....just a thought. Did that one time on my boat....wouldn't start, loaded it on the trailer....towed it home. Wife had accidently moved the kill toggle switch while cleaning it...started right back up. Just a thought then call your dealer...
Cant help but think it has something to do with this:To quote a line from a movie, What we have here is a failure to communicate" Sounds like a security issue but just because you get lights may not mean you have enough battery to enable the fuel pump to energize. May want to try your basics....battery and connections. Might have a dead cell....
It's clearly not a dead battery if everything else works.
I have the same problem with my 2012 SG.
You can override the security system if you know your PIN number. This is a problem with some bikes. Basically, uphill need to have your fobs re-tuned to your security system again.
I agree. If you don't keep a tender on the battery, this stuff happens. Also, starting the bike periodically and letting it idle is making the problem worse. Most bikes don't produce a charging situation when at idle.

If the fuel pump isn't even coming on when you turn on the ignition switch (making sure the run/kill switch is also on), then it isn't the security system.
Even without a FOB present, the fuel pump will still energize.
But the starter will not engage.
The OP states he isn't even getting the fuel pump to energize.
