I got my 21" V-Arm from SMT Machining and doing Ness Chrome Hot Legs and ness chrome cowbells. Plan on ordering Progessive monotubes as well. Got a lot more into the front end than I wanted to. I have the cvo styled bags and know you can still see the rear wheel. I don't want to stick a fortune into an upgraded back wheel. So I want to do a chrome exchange on the rear. Anyone got any words of wisdom on this? Good/bad company? Reasonable price?
Thanks
I've used ***** Shiny. If he has what your looking for "in stock" your good to go. If he out of stock of what your looking for then your in for a wait.
I finally gave up on a polished rotor from him and did it myself.
I have gotten front sliders and a rear pulley from him. Chrome was great but the wait was not.

What did you use(in addition to elbow grease) to polish them. Mine look like brushed steel.

First I used a 1/2" barell sander to smooth out the slots in the rotor. This was worse than the polishing!
Then I started with 2-2 1/2" blue scotchbrite pads on a air 90° die grinder. Then used a 6" buffing kit I purchased from Eastwood years back to finish.
Step 1 Emery compound using a Sisal wheel
Step 2 Stainless compound using a Ventilated/Spiral wheel
Step 3 White Rouge compound using a Loose Section wheel
It's not purfect but looks a ton better. It's 2/3 covered by the bags so I think I'm good. Using Lyndall gold plus pads with it too.
Thanks for the replies. I've heard of the ***** shiny exchange. I will give them a holler and see if they got mine in stock. Also I will give bikes2nv a look 426power. Anyone hear/use SportChrome before?
sport chrome is a vendor on here, i used him on my last RG, awesome price, product and amazing customer service. def recommend checking them out. cant speak for him but i think they offer a discount to forum members
