Read how much better they ride without the tour pack so I tried it today. Slow speed up to about 50-55, didn't notice a difference. 60+ and in the curves had a wobble, kind of like fighting a cross wind (no wind at all). It felt light and unstable. Is it me, cause I'm used to the extra weight? Probably won't take it off again, even though it is a quick release. I like the extra space.
Is the maintenance up to date?
Neck bearings, tire wear, suspension for example.
It should not have affected the ride. I take mine off and on a lot, Street Glide, the only thing I noticed is how much lighter the bike feels but no handling differences.
Do you ride 2 up? if you do take a ride with a passenger and see if it continues.
I know that sound crazy but sometimes if the neck bearings need adjusting it will do that but not with a passenger.
Just a thought

No problem 2 days ago with pack on. Ride alone most of the time, 2-up maybe 30 %. Tour pack loaded adds about 40 lbs. so I was wondering if that was it. Maybe riding it a while without might get used to it but I don't have a problem with it on. I'm too old to worry about looking cool.
