If you're thinking about blocks read this thread first.

Thanks, Rizzo. I do recall reading that. I'll look into the Progressive shock instead of the lowering blocks.

Progressive makes the 944 ultralow what you make your shock 11 inches check it out and pick them up if you search around for around 500 new

Default Hmmmm..

I would call Progressive, they are easy to get ahold of and you talk to a person pretty quick. My 12 RKC is lowered 1" with the 944's I have.

I think that's the best solution I've seen. Thanks

Hmmmm.....I've used lowering blocks for five years on this bike. Put on three others bikes also. Never had one problem. To each his own I suppose. The boot does touch the bracket yet I have never had a hole in it. Not sure if is haters or just people who think you should spend the money for lower shock because they did. No matter. Just being the one post that claims it is fine to use lowering blocks. Have fun.

I've had them on my RK for 2 years. No issues, went through the Advanced (Police Motor) course a few weeks ago and only ground the footboards a few times.

Or if you want to keep the air ride shocks, then get your factory units shortened. There are a few companies that do it. I offer it here in Canada, and I know there is at least one company in the US that offers this too. At the same time, you can get the oil changed to a different rate if desired.
Just sayin' ... there are options.

Porschemann
When you shortened your shocks did you add a spacer inside or actually shorten the shaft.
