Default Fuel management problem?

For the last couple of weeks have been getting a loud bang like a backfire on cold startups. I have stage 1 on a 2012 streetglide and using a power commander 5. All has been good for 13k miles. Any thoughts?

Could be the compensator but ,I would look at the connection point of the pc-5 1st make sure it does not have any moisture , clean, and apply some dielectric grease.

I had a Duece that backfired at just about every start up; cold and hot starts. It was definitely exhaust and not the compensator. I've noticed it once or twice on my TK and again, it comes from the exhaust and not the primary. I've heard many other HD's do this too.

Thanx for the help. Will check the power comander 5 connection first because symptoms are like it is out of time. The noise is not at exhaust after further inspection but at intake. Will also check plugs but leaning toward pc5
