Wind from behind?
i've got the fork baffle and the fork mounted air deflectors. work pretty good. i still get some air running around but certainly not as much as without. to me, worth the bucks because it really reduces the buffeting.
On my Road King With the shield installed... I get some air from behind...cause i can feel my shirt blow up my back when I don't wear a leather jacket in hot weather.
My Road Glide always had all the air coming from the front ....specifically from under the tank area. When I put lowers on the RG....the air was calm from the front and I got some air from behind just like the king. I think alot has to do with the windshield and or fairing combo on any given bike.

The front of the bike is causing the vacum, not the back. Changing the front setup like the windshield, lowers, fork baffles and multitude of other options will change the wind effects. Comments over the years in this forum suggest fork baffles have the greatest effect.

I installed a recurve windshield from Long Ride shields, fork baffles, fork deflectors. I don't notice any air hitting me from behind, and when I have ridden in the rain the back of the rain jacket is usually dry when I pull into shelter.
