Default Suspension pump storage

I wanted to be able to have the pump along with me, but I didn't want it bumping around in the bag, and the box for it takes up too much room, so here's what I did:
I picked up a pair of spring loaded tool clips and mounted them using the screws that secure the lid keeper. The pump snaps in nice & tight.
This will do for now, but I eventually will make a bracket that holds it up inside the lid, so it takes up even less space.

I might be just me, but I find that 5 or 10 PSI doesn't make the whole lot of difference. So, I set my shocks....and
ride. I do not measure the weight of the bags I put in the saddlebags....or deduct when my fuel tanks gets down towards empty.
Put 30 PSI in the shocks and go. (25 psi, 37psi whatever). Your car has WHAT PSI? (devide by four.....damn math)

When I had one... I kept the foam that it was wrapped in, and made a duct tape "box". Still stayed flexible enough, and fit nicely with my toolkit, chaps, rain pants, rain coat, goggles and an extra shirt.

You can see it in these old pics..

neat idea but.................. the wasted space from those neato hook deals probably takes up more space than the box did, now you have some nice thin edges to rub on any gear you may store in your space compromised saddlebags and there are holes in the bags.
Neat idea though and if you never pack anything you should be good to go.

FWIW I have kept mine wrapped in a thick sock in my tool pouch for years. No issues.

Again neat idea, looks clean and spiffy.

...again. does it matter that much? Might look good at a bike show......and does anyone know
if one of their car shocks is low? How many miles do you have on a car shock?
Should I have 30 or 20 PSI in my Harley shock? Geesh.

I always have two pr gloves with me. One set is heavier for colder weather. Or one set gets wet. I just slide the pump inside an extra glove. Takes up very little room and I have the gloves anyway so nothing extra and nothing to scratch other gear on.

Damn I thought I invented the sock storage idea.I found out the hard way that if you just left it sitting in the bottom of the saddle bag it would vibrate itself apart.
