I just keep mine in it's foam container and under the saddle bag liner. Looks new and easy access.
Good idea, looks cool.

I keep mine in a bubble wrap envelope trimmed to fit.
Bare minimum space taken, decent protection.

I got the tourpak fitted lid organizer and the bottom pocket is big enough that I keep heavy gloves in it and slide the pump into the pocket fits great and protected.

i pump the shocks
very occasionally check it, unless I feel the need
I don't think it is a necessary piece to cary around
I leave it with my other gear in the shed

Seems like a great solution, but not one I worry about that I'd pack a pump. I check mine every few rides, might add a few pounds now and then, and call it good. Not enough changes during my ride where I think adding or subtracting a few pounds would make any difference.

You never know when you might come up with the next great idea for Harley or eGlidegoodies.

I keep mine in a spare microphone bag...also put a couple of other things, like a flashlight and the wrenches used to adjust the throttle cables in it, and keep it in the bottom of the saddlebag. Home Depot and Lowe's sell handy little document bags for cheap, they might work well also...I keep my toolkit in the ones I got from HD. Although that bracket idea is clever, I agree with those opining that it really takes up a LOT of room...
