Default Case - HD Air Shock Pump

Anyone got an idea how to protect the hand held air pump when in my bags? I was thinking of taking a piece of leather and making a nice wrap for it but its not perfect... The reason i ask is that I just got back from a trip and the foam protector is looking pretty ragged and I figure there has to be a better way...?

Either have a local leather shop (that makes wallets and belts and stuff) make you a pouch, or maybe you could use velcro to secure it in your tour pack or sadle bag where you want it. Other than that I'd look for a small tripod case or similar. Like these: http://www.thefind.com/electronics/browse-slik-tripod-case#page=1&price=$9-$41&local=0

I put it in the lid organizer, usually wrapped in a rag.

I have a nylon zippered Army Issue butt pack that I keep a standard and metric hex key set, torx set, two screwdrivers and the pump in the foam protector that I wrap in a miicrofiber cloth that I keep with a small bottle of detail spray

I wouldn't do anything this guys says, its clear he has no idea what he is talking about. Just messing with ya Doc, thought i was the only Wolverine on this forum!

I keep mine in the foam that i arrived in, and just put a velcro strap around it to keep it from opening up, also i don't really have to adjust mine very often, so my foam has stayed in pretty decent shape.

I installed lid organizers in my saddlebags and my pump fits easily in one with room left for a few tools.

Cut a piece of PVC pipe for it to fit in. It's free/cheap and will protect it for years.
