The wife made a bag out of worn out jeans pant leg.We also have a blanket in one bag all the time. You never know when you may need to take a quicky when out cruising around with the sweetie on back.
I don't carry mine, so it stays in my tool chest. Didn't know you guys adjust your shocks that often. ?
I carry mine because when I'm out and about and I start to feel some bumps, I can give it a quick check. My '08 never lost any air ever. But my '09 seems to loose a little air from time to time.
I told the service writer about the shocks loosing air and his answer was "Some do, some don't".
Now where's that thread about "the dumbest thing said by a service writer"? LOL
I'm due for my 5,000 service, so I'll have them check the connections.
Mine don't leak either, but, I always carry mine in it's box in the L. saddle bag. I have recorded on the box the air pressures I have found work to ride single, with female passenger med. build, female pass. petite, and male passenger med, light weights. Saves a lot of time when I have someone ride with me to have the numbers to pump up at. Everyone always wants a Harley ride when I get to a family gathering, and they always want the air ride shocks pumped. I wouldn't ride without carrying the pump.
I wouldn't do anything this guys says, its clear he has no idea what he is talking about. Just messing with ya Doc, thought i was the only Wolverine on this forum!
OOPS Did your account on our forums disappear??? LMAO! Just messin back bro. See ya next time I look at ya!
