wind river hd in lawton ok, dont waste your time going there. ive been several times cause there the closest and for that reason only. the sales people only come around if they think your going to buy something. if you have a question about something they act like your wasting their time. i will say that the sales manager is pretty nice and knowledgeable. i talked to him and even he didnt have anything good to say about the sales people. the parts dept is a joke. i asked about getting my bike dynoed and they quoted 3 hrs to install their SE tuner and 10 hrs for the dyno. and they would only do it if i bought stuff there. and any time i have gone in for a part i have to look it up on my phone and tell them the part number or they can never find anything. plus some of the parts guys treat you like your an idiot for even asking a question. the merchandise girls are nice but no one walking around to help. if you need something you have to go search them out. so unless you just have to get something there i would recommend going somewhere else.
I had a close to that experience. I went to trade, had my bike, a certified check for $18,000 with $10,000 in cash. I wanted a CVO. Hell I couldn't get any of the sales folks to help me. All he said was we don't have one and walked out with his coffee and smoke. I don't go there anymore. I really liked the sales girls. Lol
So, they told you 13 hours to install tuner and dyno? I'm calling BS.
yeah so did i. i asked them why it took so long. his reply was that was how long it always takes for anyone to do it. i told him they should probably get someone better at their job. i got mine dynoed at sturgis this past year for $225 and it only took about an hour. some may take longer or be cheaper but he did a great job for me.

No disrespect intended but for an hour's worth of tuning, you probably didn't get much regardless of the price.
Someday, take it to a real tuner and you might be surprised at the difference.
Don't feel bad. Kegel's HD in Rockford, IL sucks too. I refuse to go there, even to buy a t-shirt. Woodstock HD and Kutter HD are close to me so they get my business.
Going to a STEALER just plain sucks..I am happy that I am SMART enough not to go for any reason...Support your local INDY....
Harley is making it a lot tougher on the independents, or at least that's what the one near me has said. No parts discounts, can't order some specific parts directly from H-D and is now being paid less on Harley service contracts than an authorized dealer.
No doubt, this is to help Harley dealers and their investment, which I understand, but kinda of sucks for bike owners. Eliminating any competition doesn't necessarily improve the experience at the Harley dealer.
