Chrome Voltage Regulator

Are the Voltage Regulators on the '07 RK just an unbolt the box plug and play or is there more to changinging the VR than that? Looks to be a couple of screw and a plug to me (got to get me a service manual). Thanks in advance guys.

I am assuming that the MOCO is using the same regulator setup on the 07's as it has for the past few years, and if this is the case it is just 2 bolts and one connector that hold it onto the frame

correct..very easy to change out. a MC stand makes it even easier.

I've heard that a chrome cover on the regulator can cause heat problems. Don't know if this is the case, but I'm not putting the chrome on mine.

Thanks for info guys. I will have to check on the heat issue bay 13. Definately something I didn't even consider until you said something. Will post what they tell me.
