Default What Map Are You Using

I also posted this in the Fuel Injection forum, but not sure how many of you go there.

Okay all you Rinehart True Dual riders, what PCIII map are you using and what is your bikes configuration?

Spike, when you ran the 807-220, how did it run for you? Why did you go with the DTT?

Tater,

I was told to use 807-211 by Ken at power commander. It seemed to run pretty goodwith this set-up. But last Monday I had her put on the Dyno and they got me 8 ft lbs more of torque and 6 or 7 more H.P. I guess the canned map wasn't too aweful bad but I sure could feel those extra lbs of torque.

Pwr Comm III
1.75" Rolling Thunder Slip ons
Ness Big Sucker Stage 2 (for future mods)
25 degree injectors
78 H.P
78 Torque

Jeff

all right here we go.....
The PCIII was a great add-on.... I actually prefered it over the sert as I could adjust it myself. Add, remove fuel as needed. In Connecticut I had a great dyno tuner.... It ran very well but there was the starting issue (2-4 revolutions) and there was always a little lag in a couple RPM ranges. You can keep playing until you get rid of it. It was nice when on decell i had popping and just add fule at 0 throttle to eliminate it.

I now have the DTT.... I am in process of planning a 95" build and not sure what one yet. So being the engineer that I am I want to do an actual comparison of before and after. I have the dyno from Connecticut and the one from here (Texas). I was not happy with it here.... So now I have the DTT on a stage 1 stock build engine and I will dyno it (not tune) in a couple weeks to do a comparison then a buld and another comparison......

Don't get me wrong the PCIII is a great add on IF you can get a good dyno tunner. I just wanted more and the DTT is allowing me soooo much adjustability as a close loop EFI system. Just like a car the best performance will come from it.

Good luck in your search/decision.....

John
