I was bought a sepst as a gift. Get it tomorrow. How hard is it to do the autotune? What do you set it up for exhaust with stock head pipes and removed cats with cobra slipons? I watched the training video and it looks somewhat simple but I think I am over thinking it and making it harder then it really is. I will get it dynoed eventually but I wanna wait till I get the air cleaner and cams in it. So far its just the removed cat and slipons.
screamin eagle pro super tuner original tune file name
Pardon my ignorance if this sounds a little confusing, but here it comes.
I originally used the screamin eagle pro super tuner to tweak my '06 Road Glide after installing Andrews 26 cams and a few other upgrades. (a friend actually did the tuning) So, when I married the SEPST to my bike, it saved the original stock tune that was in the bike from HD, when the bike was new.
Soon after this, I bought a new laptop, and transferred the 3 SEPST tune files from the old machine, to my new machine. (listed below)
SEPST FILE NAMES:
06T088002306.pvt - I'm assuming that this is the original tune
06T088_26G_2-2.pvt
3-20-06_tune.pvt
Now, I recently bought a Power Vision, and the AutoTune kit, from DynoJet. When I married the PV it had the SEPST tweaked tune, so that tune got saved as the original tune. (correct?) What I'd like to do is, re-flash the original tune from the SEPST (I still have it.) and start over from scratch, using the original HD stock tune, rather than the SEPST tweaked tune, that was saved by the PV when I married THAT to the bike.
My plan is, after I flash the SEPST tune, I'll save it to the PV, and start the auto tune process all over again.
My problem is, I don't know what the SEPST named the original tune file. They must use a formula when creating this original tune file, no?
I wrote to DynoJet about this and their reply said, it's best to start with a custom tune for the mods I have installed. They sent me one, so that will be my starting point.
I tired using Mytune. I bought the license and it will not work for me. Just says I have the evaluation program.
I have been trying to get some questions answered from MyTune... Looks a great product, but yet to get a response from them. I would go thirty bucks for that. But without support forthcoming, or even pre-purchase questions answered I will have to wait
