Default Pit Boss and Half Helmet Headset

I have tried on the Pit Boss and will soon be buying a new helmet. I am also thinking about picking up a couple headsets to take advantage of the CB and the communication my 2014 Limited has. I like the fit of the Pit Boss but got to thinking about the device that adds tension as to would it get in the way of the headset at the back of my neck? Does anyone use this combination?

I have a Pit Boss and the J&M Elite (HS-IHI787-HHU-XHO) headset. This combination works well.

Did you just push the headset into the helmet as designed, or did you put it into the Pit Boss curtain?

I just bought one and would like it to be secured to the helmet with the zipper.

You can remove that device at the back to fit your headset. I don't have a headset, but I never got use to that device, so I took it off.

Ditto. Liked the helmet but hated the adjuster. Helmet fits me just fine without it.

We put an Edsets unit on my wife's Pit Boss helmet and she loves it. You can either get pouches to put their ear phones in or there is a plug on the main unit so you can use your own ear buds. You can either buy a whole set-up or a la cart to get just the right configuration. She actually likes the adjuster on the back and the headset didn't interfere in any way with it.

They are easy to install and their service is great. If you have any questions about what to buy or how to install it just drop them an e-mail. Chances are Ed will respond that day if he can.

The reason I ditched my PB and went with a 3/4 helmet. Best move I ever made.

I used the curtain that came with the helmet for the IMC headset and everything fit fine. With the JM headset they have plastic tabs that are supposed to slip between the shell and foam, which is why I asked the question. Can't use the PB curtain like before with out heavy modification.

My Pit Boss was a little tight so I ditched the adjuster. My Sena works great in it.
