Default Triple Tree Deflector

Now that's it's no longer a stock item on the Baggers......is it worth purchasing? I've read many threads saying it works or it doesn't make any difference. I don't have lowers nor fork deflectors but if the consensus is that it will help the wind from coming around the tank and quit lifting my shirt up.....then I'm on it.

I put one on my 2013 RK. I think it and the fork deflectors did help with wind buffeting and air coming up over the tank under the windshield.

I put one on my Pal's bike without him knowing ( after hearing nothing but complaints about his whiskers tickling).

after a 500 mile ride I asked him how his ride was "same as always"...it made no difference.

by the same token I didn;t really notice that it was missing from my bike.

I pulled the one off my Evo before I sold it and put it on my 2009...it was "free"

aerodynamics and the rider's experience and expectations are real variables.

I think that only the rider can judge for themself if a $26 piece of pie plate is going to make a night or day difference.

I didn't think it helped much.

the fork deflectors, on the other hand, do make a difference...

It's not a night and day difference but they are worth what they cost in my opinion.

I always thought it was designed to help curve air down toward the front cylinder ? Looks okay as well -----

I have one and it doesn't help me out any.. To me it's just a piece of chrome.. I have it paired with adjustable deflectors on the fairing and it's just as if they arnt there. My beard is in my face either way

Yes, they work for me.
The TT Baffle reduces the wind from coming over the top of the tank and into your face, while the Fork Deflectors push the wind "Out" away from you. I see where the baffle could help a little with cooling the front cylinder.
Both stay on mine year round.
Ride before and after on a cold day, and feel around with your bare hand and you will feel the difference.
