Default Hammock seat?

Has anyone who has owned one ever find another seat that's better?

I have the air zepplin also, they are both real nice seats the Hammock is less money and just as comfortable. I am using it now instead the of the air seat because my wife thinks it is more comfortable for her. I have tried other seats and these are the 2 best in my opinion.

Just installed a Heated Hammock, have only had my butt on it for an hour ride so far, but it feels good. I demoed both the 2013 Model and the 2014 Model last fall and chose the 14.

Yes I bought one new based on reviews here and sold it on this site. I use a Russell day long seat. Best money you can spend for a seat in my opinion

I am also looking into the Hammock seat. I am curious as to how it would hold up over time?

I probably would have gone with the Sundowner, but once my wife sat on the Hammock that was pretty much the end of the discussion. Can't say that I'm disappointed though, it's pretty damn cushy. My only complaint is that I don't really like the look of the seat much, but I guess when our butts are covering it up that's a non-issue.

Normally ride with a solo, but when wife rides it's the Hammock. She picked it out after trying other options including double memory foam and gel from mean city cycles

Key words, "in my opinion". I worked at the local dealership in sales for about 3 years. Every rider has a different idea of what comfortable is. Take Corbin seats for instance. It seems you either love them or hate them. There dosen't seem to be any middle ground. I have owned both a Road Zeppelin, Mustang and Hammock seats . Neither the mustang nor the Road Zeppelin fit on my 14 Road King. Since the stock seat was so bad I decided to get the Hammock seat as I never thought the other two were all that great. I am very satisfied with the Hammock seat. It does not look as good as the stock seat but with the tour pak on you don't notice it so much. Since I like to travel on my bike, comfort trumps looks.
