Not sure from where just noticed the last few times I started it there is a big puddle of oil smelled it and it smells like tranny oil there's no dip stick to check the tranny oil just thought this could be a easy diagnosed problem I will have to check it out better
the tranny filler is the one that uses an allen key to remove...it has a dipstick attached to it.
it is on the rt side of the bike just in front of the oil filler
the primary is on teh left side of the bike and has no dipstick but a visual check is used for levels on all the fluid levels- there are no absolute specs.
so we wonder if you are correct about which fluid is leaking...and if any of the fluids may be overfull
Ok I know where the tranny fill plug is but trust me there is no dip stick. bike never did this until it got cold out last year put it away never really thought about it any more and now its doing it again so the primary is closed correct? so how could it come out of there? Is the tranny vented? if so why would it come out of the tranny unless it was overfilled? So if the Tranny was overfilled wouldn't it do it after it had been filled?
