Every year I ship my motorcycle from Florida to Utah for a few weeks to ride in the mountains with some friends. In the past I have used DAS but they have raised their price $125 over previous years. They blame overhead and gas as the reason....yeah right! Even though I have shipped with them before I get no price break. What experience or suggestions does everyone have for me?? Thanks for the help!
Start shopping or start riding? If you are not willing or able to ride, be willing to pay. Aside from fuel, hotel, food, truck, and trailer expenses, there is also insurance. After the overhead they are looking for a worthwhile profit (as would I). If it is only a few bikes, the profit margin may or not be worth the time and expenses to them unless they charged more. Are there less folks shipping this time around?

I am willing to pay to ship my bike and have for several years so I am not sure what your point is. I am not against a company making a profit, they must to stay in business but there is competition in that business and I was simply trying to get some input from those who have shipped their bikes and had a good experience. Who did they use and would they recommend them to someone. Simple as that......
JC Motors. Website www.motorcycleshippers.com. Used them to ship a CVO from N.C. to WA a couple of years ago. Best price I could find at the time. Reliable, reasonably fast and no issues.
Try Moto-Transporters.com or PatriotExpressLogistics.comThe company is Patriot Express Logistics. Best service I have ever had. Just got my Road King delivered to me from California in Mint condition. This company is ran by military vets and I tell you what, they run their operation very nice. I paid $699 all Inclusive. No hidden fees or anything like that. Oh and they picked up and delivered to a residence on both ends... I called Haul Bikes and they were charging me fuel surge charges and not to mention a residential fee. . Take a look at them. I highly recommend them. Oh! One more thing, delivery time was only 12 days!!!!!

I used U-Ship to have them pick up a bike for me one time and I had no issues. Once I started talking to the guy he I got him to lower the price by $200.
