I've been looking at lower fairings for my SGS and came across these from kjetdirect.com. Has anyone had a set of these or seen a set up close? For $129.00 it may be a reasonable gamble.
Add hardware, shipping, probably closer to $230. Wont be anywhere near oem quality, especially in the paint. Im sure they did extensive r&d in the wind tunnel........

Actually, shipping's free. I don't expect them to be perfect, but even if I had to have them painted I'm still probably in it for $200-$300 less than OEM. I was just hoping that someone else had some experience to share. As long as they hold up well and don't look like they were painted with a brush by a 3 year old, then I'd probably be okay with them.
been lots of discussions on here and other forums. best I can tell, most of the guys that got them were happy with them. especially if your bike is vivid black and you don't have the cost of painting. One guy said he took his in to his HD (where he had been talking to them about getting some HD ones), the guys there didn't realize they weren't HD.
I will be purchasing them for my bike soon. going to get the tour pak as well.
I've got fake ones on my RK and am very happy with them( Vivid Black) so they matched up perfectly. You will want to use the hardware from HD, about $60 if I remember. All in all. I've got about $180 in mine and am very satisfied.....
It might give you a better view of the fairings too. We have had very few issues with the fitment/quality; they fit almost every touring model. The only bike we have trouble with is the FLTR because the crashbars/fairing mount is unique. This has been a very good product for us and we enjoy selling them.
I can't speak to that particular brand, but I put aftermarket Mutazu's on mine and like them very much. Seems like mine were just north of $250, but came with speakers and pods. The paint quality was acceptable to me. Speakers were junk of course, but new 6.5's screwed right in, see sig pic.
